Selection of grapes of our vineyards of Rioja del Reyno, complemented with Grenaches from high areas of Rioja Oriental. Vines are older than 50 years old in bush and located on slopes with south expire in clay-calcareous soils with blocks of plaster. The harvest is manual in the morning in boxes of 17 kg. Fermentation is carried out in small stainless-steel tanks with 5 daily manual pumps ups and maceration of 14 days. It is aged for 36 months, in French and American oak barrels of 4-6 years old.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: A medium intense garnet colour.
Aroma: Deep balsamic oaky aromas of dried prunes, liquorice and sweet spices, clove, tobacco and cedar.
Taste: Smooth silky elegant tannins with well integrated body and acidity.
