Grape varieties are Graciano coming from 80 years old vines planted in a poor, sandy, rounded and with pebbles soil. Tempranillo coming from 25 years old vines on a sandy and calcareous soil. Harvest is done at dawn so we can keep the full freshness of the grape. The grapes are hand-picked in boxes of 12kg. Fermentation in open 500 litres French oak barrels and also in stainless steel deposit with daily pumping-ups. Ageing is done in new and second year French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Intense red with garnet hues clean and bright.
Aroma: Very expressive and aromatic. Mature fruit and spices like clove and white pepper stand out in this wine.
Taste: Tasty, savoury, with good structure. Well balanced, intense and round tannins.
